More international prizes have gone to the short film Bus Story, directed by Jorge Yúdice: it has also been awarded at the Novara Cine Festival, which has recently taken place in Novara (Piedmont, Italy). The short has won the main award of the short film competition of the Novara Cine Festival.
It has been a great week of the short Bus Story by Jorge Yúdice. A new award has been joined the prize obtained at the 16. Mezinárodní Festival Studentských Filmů Písek. Bus Story has also won the Best Short Film Award (Premio per il Miglior Cortometraggio) given by the Jury of the 11th Novara Cine Festival (Novara, Piedmont, Italy).
The eleventh edition of the Novara Cine Festival was held between 10th and the 13th October. 32 shorts, including the successful Bus Story by Jorge Yúdice, fought for the awards of this festival during the four days of the competition.
To be precise, Bus Story by Jorge Yúdice has received the Best Short Film Award of the Section A. The competition of the Novara Cine Festival of the year 2017 was divided into two categories "A" and "B". Indeed Bus Story has been the winner of the section A, the main prize of this Italian film contest.
The Best Short Film Award, given to Bus Story by Jorge Yúdice, consists of € 500.
The awards announced by the 11th Novara Cine Festival have been:
- Best Short Film Award Section A (Premio per il Miglior Cortometraggio Sezione A): Bus Story by Jorge Yúdice (Spain);
- Best Short Film Award Section B (Premio per il Miglior Cortometraggio Sezione B): La partitta by Frank Jerky (Italy);
- Best Animation Short Film Award (Premio per il Miglior Cortometraggio di Animazione): Corp. by Pablo Polledri (Argentina);
- Best Original Soundtrack Award (Miglior Colonna Sonora Musicale Originale): Roman Trouillet for Camino de agua para un pez by Mercedes Marro (Colombia / Spain);
- CNA Piemonte Nord Award: Al giorno d'oggi il lavoro te lo devi inventare by Mario Vitale (Italy);
- Best Cinematography Award (Miglior fotografia): Philippe Brelot for Le monde du petit monde by Fabrice Bracq (France);
- Best Male Actor Award (Miglior Attore): Martin Dubreuil for Lost Face by Sean Meehan (Canada / Australia);
- Best Female Actress Award (Miglior Attrice): Rosario Pardo for Tres gramos de fe by José Campos (Spain); and
- Scelto Dagli Studenti Student's Award: Le monde du petit monde by Fabrice Bracq (France).
