The 34è Festival de Cinéma Pays de Lunel (Lunel, Occitanie, France) has selected “The Beetle At The End Of The Street” (El escarabajo al final de la calle) by Joan Vives Lozano and “Bus Story” by Jorge YúdiceA new edition, the thirty-fourth one, of the Festival de Cinéma Pays de Lunel is about to open in Lunel (Occitanie, France) and the shorts shorts The Beetle At The End Of The Street (El escarabajo al final de la calle) by Joan Vives Lozano and Bus Story by Jorge Yúdice are going there.

From tomorrow, Friday 30th March, and until 8th April, the city of Lunel (Occitanie, France) is going to held its film festival. The 34è Festival de Cinéma Pays de Lunel has arranged a short film selection and has nominated the films The Beetle At The End Of The Street (El escarabajo al final de la calle), directed by Joan Vives Lozano, and Bus Story, directed by Jorge Yúdice, as part of the competition.

The 18è Compétition des Courts Métrages of the Festival de Cinéma Pays de Lunel has gathered a selection of 16 international shorts. Two of them are, precisely, The Beetle At The End Of The Street by Joan Vives Lozano and Bus Story by Jorge Yúdice.

Both shorts are going to be shown during this film event. The Beetle At The End Of The Street by Joan Vives Lozano is going to be screened just tomorrow, Friday 30th March, during the opening day of this French festival. The short may be watched from 17:45 hours (UTC+2 CEST) at the Salle Georges Brassens, located in Lunel.

Bus Story, the short directed by Jorge Yúdice, must be waiting for some few days. It will not be shown until Saturday 7th April. The Espace Mistral, located in the nearby town of Boisseron, will host the screening of Bus Story from 18:30 hours (UTC+2 CEST).

  • Lili dans les nuages by Tomas Leroux (France),
  • Veuillez ne pas tenter d’ouvrir la porte by Baptiste Martin-Bonnaire (France),
  • Bus Story by Jorge Yúdice (Spain),
  • Kapitalistis by Pablo Munoz Gomez (France / Belgium),
  • The President's Visit by Cyril Aris (Lebanon / Qatar), and
  • Soury by Christophe Switzer (France).

These 16 finalists are going to compete during the ten days of the Festival Pays de Lunel for the Prix du Jury (Jury's Prize) —consisting of € 1,000—, for the Prix du Public (Audience Award) —consisting of € 800—, and for the Prix Louis Feuillade (Louis Feuillade Award) —consisting of € 500. Good luck to all candidates, specially, to the shorts The Beetle At The End Of The Street and Bus Story.

The association Pecheurs d'Images, settled in Lunel, is the organizer of this film event.
