The short film Z Fest, which has been directed by filmmaker David Cordero, is taking part in the Festival de Cine Fantástico Europeo de Murcia C-FEM. This film competition began last Friday 16th March and it is taking place in Murcia (Spain).
The 7th Festival de Cine Fantástico Europeo de Murcia, aka C-FEM, is well underway. The film event opened last Friday 16th March and one of the nominees of the current edition is the short film Z Fest, directed by David Cordero.
Obviously, Z Fest by David Cordero is part of the Official Short Film Competition of the C-FEM 2018 of Murcia. The short film selection of this festival is divided in two competitions: the "Concurso Nacional" (Spanish National Contest) and the "Murcia Fantástica" (Fantastic Murcia) section. Precisely, Z Fest by David Cordero has been selected by "Murcia Fantástica".
The nominees of the "Murcia Fantástica" competition of the C-FEM 2018 are:
- Evströnger by Silvia Conesa,
- Suspenso o sorpresa by Daniel Bernal,
- Murcia by Diego Corbalán,
- Eusebio 80 by Iván Molina & Jesús Fernández,
- The Last Dance by Manuel García de Otazo,
- Homo No Sapiens by Sergio Town,
- No no no by Alberto del Castillo, and
- Z Fest by David Cordero.
Eight shorts in total are taking part in this section of the Festival de Cine Fantástico Europeo de Murcia. These eight films are going to be screened coming Wednesday 21st March from 19:00 hours (UTC+1 CET). The Filmoteca Regional de Murcia (Murcia Regional Film Archive) is the venue where these screenings will take place.
Besides of these shorts of "Murcia Fantástica", the festival has also selected 16 Spanish short films for this year's Spanish Contest. The screenings of these shorts have begun just today, 19th March.
The seventh edition of the Festival de Cine Internacional Europeo de Murcia C-FEM will be closed on Saturday 24th March.
