Up to five shorts distributed at film festivals by [ The House of Films ] can be watched in O Ferrol (Galicia, Spain), thanks to a new edition of the Mostra de Curtametraxes do Ateneo Ferrolán.

Five short films promoted at film festivals by [ The House of Films ] have been nominated for being shown as part of the Official Selection of the XVI Xornadas Mostra de Curtametraxes do Ateneo Ferrolán (O Ferrol, Galicia, Spain). The nominated shorts are:

  • L de Libertad, co-directed by Javier Hernández & Marc Guanyabens;
  • Bus Story, directed by Jorge Yúdice;
  • El hombre múltiple, directed by Miguel Bardem;
  • Namesakes Anonymous (Homónimos Anónimos), directed by José Luis Santos Pérez and distributed as part of the Cantabria en Corto 2015 / Short Films From Cantabria 2015; and
  • The Drunkard's Walk (El andar del borracho), directed by Pol Armengol.

These five shorts, as well as the rest of this year's nominees, will be in O Ferrol from today, Monday 19th December, until coming Wednesday 21st.

The short L de Libertad by Javier Hernández & Marc Guanyabens is opening the screenings just today, Monday 19th. The session that will show L de Libertad is starting at 19:00 hours and will be carried out at the auditorium of the Ateneo Ferrolán, the organizer of this film event.

Tomorrow, Tuesday 20th December, also from 19:00 hours and at the Ateneo Ferrolán, two more shorts are going to be shown: Bus Story by Jorge Yúdice and El hombre múltiple by Miguel Bardem.

On Wednesday 21st, last day of the Mostra de Curtametraxes of the year 2016, the last two films promoted by [ The House of Films ] can be seen: Namesakes Anonymous by José Luis Santos Pérez and The Drunkard's Walk by Pol Armengol. These shorts are going to be screened from 19:45 hours after a session devoted to animation short films.
