The second edition of the Certamen de Cortometrajes Angelika is coming and the organizer has selected several short films promoted at film festivals by [ The House of Films ].
The 2nd Certamen de Cortometrajes Angelika (Madrid, Spain) has selected the short films The Setback (El revés) by Gonzalo Perdomo, Where's Beauty? (¿Dónde quedó la belleza?) by Enrique Cerrejón, We Will Call Him Bobby by Paco Cavero, Nexo by Abraham Mestre & Joaquín Álvarez, and Abracadabra by Diego Arjona.
These five short films are going to be shown during May at the Angelika Cinema Lounge. The second edition of this contest has opened on last March 12th and the selected works have been screened every Monday in March and April at 21:00. Screenings will continue during the rest of April and during May. The festival is going to announce its winners in June.
It should be noted that this is the first selection at film festivals for the short film Nexo by Abraham Mestre & Joaquín Álvarez, that has just started its promotion at festivals with [ The House of Films ].
