The short films Z Fest by David Cordero is part of the screenings calendar of the Post Mortem Festival. This Mexican festival will be held from today, Friday 1st June, in Aguascalientes, capital of the state of the same name.
The XI Post Mortem International Horror & Bizarre Short Film Fest is about to be launched in Aguascalientes (Mexico) and the zombie short film Z Fest, directed by David Cordero, will go there in order to participate in this short film contest. The 2018 edition of this festival will last three days, from today, Friday 1st June, until Sunday 3rd.
The Official Competition of the XI Post Mortem Fest, in which Z Fest by David Cordero has been included, comprises 75 finalists. Those finalists fight for winning the Ataúd Post Mortem (Post Mortem Coffin), the 2018 Best Short Film Award. In addition, the Jury of the XI Post Mortem will give the Mención Honorífica Roja (Red Honour Mention), the Mención Honorífica Negra (Black Honour Mention), and the Mención Honorífica Gris (Gray Honour Mention). They are going to award the best Mexican short films which will receive the Catrina de Oro (Golden Catrina), the Catrina de Plata (Silver Catrina), and the Catrina Negra (Black Catrina).
According to the available information, we think that Z Fest by David Cordero is going to be screened during the last day of the eleventh Post Mortem Fest. That will be on Sunday 3rd June at 19:00 hours (UTC-5 CDT). The venue where this screening will take place is the art centre Artium, located in Aguascalientes.
On Sunday from 22:00 hours (UTC-5 CDT) the names of the winners of the current edition will be disclosed.
