It is also participating at this festival the short Role (Rol. La puta y el cliente) by Hammudi Al-Rahmoun Font as part of the programme ShortCat.

The current edition of the CortogeniAl, the VIII Certamen de Cortometrajes de Puente Genil CortogeniAl 2017, turned on its projectors last Saturday 11th November in Puente Genil (Andalusia, Spain). Two short films promoted at film festivals by [ The House of Films ] have joined this Andalusian festival: Identidad by Juan Carlevaris and Role (Rol. La puta y el cliente) by Hammadi Al-Rahmoun Font, the latter one thanks to its inclusion in the catalogue ShortCat, managed by Catalan Films.

To enjoy the shorts of the Official Competition of the CortogeniAl 2017 it is necessary to wait until Thursday 16th November. That very day, on Thursday 16th, the first competing shorts, including Identidad by Juan Carlevaris, are going to be screened. The short by Juan Carlevaris may be watched from 19:30 hours (UTC+1 CET) at the Teatro Circo of Puente Genil.

Also in the Official Competition, there is the short by Hammadi Al-Rahmoun Font, Role. This short story can be seen in the next day, on Friday 17th November. The session that has included Role will begin at 21:50 hours (UTC+1 CET). Again the screenings venue will be the Teatro Circo of Puente Genil, the official venue of the CortogeniAl.

The Official Competition of this eighth edition is composed by 48 short films, chosen between the 1,288 films submitted to the organizers.
