Three short films, supported at film festivals by [ The House of Films ]: Two Seconds of Silence (Dos segundos de silencio) by Felipe Sanz, One Step Ahead by Caque & Juan Trueba, and L de Libertad by Javier Hernández & Marc Guanyabens have been selected at the Festival de la Imatge de Calella Festimatge 2017. This film event is taking place in Calella (Catalonia, Spain) since last Saturday 1st April and will continue its screenings and activities until 23rd April.

Specifically, Two Seconds of Silence by Felipe Sanz, One Step Ahead by Caque & Juan Trueba, and L de Libertad by Javier Hernández & Marc Guanyabens have been included in the competition of the XXIII Trofeu Torretes de Curtmetratges of the current edition of the Festimatge. The screenings of this XXIII Trofeu Torretes de Curtmetratges are beginning just today, 4th April.

Nonetheless, to see the first of these three short films, we must wait until coming Tuesday 11th April. The screening of the short L de Libertad, co-directed by Javier Hernández & Marc Guanyabens, has been scheduled on that very day. The show, which will be held at the Ajuntament Vell of Calella, will start at 19:00 hours.

For their part, Two Seconds of Silence, the short by Felipe Sanz, and One Step Ahead, directed by Caque & Juan Trueba brothers and which is part of the Cantabria en Corto 2015 / Short Films From Cantabria 2015 programme, are not going to be exhibited during this festival since the organizers only screens some of the selected films.

Another unusual quirk of this festival is that they have already decided and announced the list of winners of the current edition. The winner of the Premi d'Honor Trofeu Torretes al Millor Curtmetratge (Trofeu Torretes Best Short Film Honour Award) has gone to La paciencia del agua by Guillem Almirall.
