The 35è Festival Cinéma d'Alès – Itinérances (Alès, Occitanie, France) is going to screen “Ashen” (Cenizo) by Jon Mikel CaballeroThe fiction short film Ashen (Cenizo), directed by filmmaker Jon Mikel Caballero, will be present in the thirty-fifth edition of the Festival Cinéma d'Alès – Itinérances, which is going to show films from today until coming 26th March.

Jon Mikel Caballero and his short film Ashen (Cenizo) is going to take part in the 35è Festival Cinéma d'Alès – Itinérances. This film event is kicking off just today, Friday 17th March, and it will continue its activities until comign Sundya 26th March. The Festival Cinéma d'Alès is annually held in Alès, a town in the region of Occitanie (France).The 35è Festival Cinéma d'Alès – Itinérances (Alès, Occitanie, France) is going to screen “Ashen” (Cenizo) by Jon Mikel Caballero

The award-winning short film Ashen by Jon Mikel Caballero has been invited to take part in the "Pour une poignée d'Aliens" (For A Handfull of Aliens) programme. The seven shorts of the "Pour une poignée d'Aliens" session are going to be shown on Thursday 23rd March at 23:00 hours. The venue where Ashen can be watched is Le Cratère, a film venue located in Alès.

The seven shorts of the "Pour une poignée d'Aliens" section are: L'attaque du monstre géant suceur de cer- veaux de l'espace by Guillaume Rieu (France), Ashen by Jon Mikel Caballero (Spain), Mars IV by Guillaume Rieu (France), Voice Over by Martín Rosete (Spain), Alien Repair Guy by Alexander Somma & Øystein Moe (Norway), El ataque de los robots de Nebulosa 5 by Chema Garcia Ibarra (Spain), and King Crab Attack by Grégoire Sivan (France).

For their part, the Official Short Film Competition of the Itinérances 2017 of Alès is just composed by 11 shorts. The nominees are: Tout va bien by Laurent Scheid (France), Perrault, La Fontaine, Mon cul! by Hugo Thomas, Zoran Boukherma & Ludovic Boukherma (France), Ineffaçable by Grégory Lecocq (Belgium), Bill by David Solinhac & Hadrien Rol (France), TerreMere by Aliou Sow (France), Un homme moderne by Jérôme Cassou (France), La nuit, tous les chats sont roses by Guillaume Renusson (France), Un métier bien by Farid Bentoumi (France), Première séance by Jonathan Borgel (France), Bal de famille by Stella di Tocco (France), and Rhapsody by Constance Meyer (France).
