The Strawberry Shorts Film Festival 2016, which is annually held in Cambridge (England, United Kingdom), is going to exhibit the short films Don't Leave Me (No me quites), directed by Laura Jou, and Duty (Deber), directed by Ángel Manzano, just today during special session.
The film contest called The Cambridge Strawberry Shorts Film Festival 2016 (Cambridge, England, United Kingdom) is going to show two short films promoted at film festivals by [ The House of Films ] today, 29th September. The filmgoers of Cambridge can enjoy the short films Don't Leave Me (No me quites) by Laura Jou and Duty (Deber) by Ángel Manzano just today. These two shorts have won an Official Commendation from the hands of the Strawberry Shorts Film Festival 2016.
Despite the 2016 edition of the Strawberry Shorts Film Festival having taken place last 3rd June, the festival decided then that some short films deserved to be part of the festival and they extended the selection to an out-of-competition section. These shorts, including Don't Leave Me by Laura Jou and Duty by Ángel Manzano, are going to be exhibited today. All these shorts, the same as Don't Leave Me and Duty, have won a Commendation.

Taking about today's screening, which is going to showcase the shorts No quites by Laura Jou and Duty by Ángel Manzano, the only thing we know for sure is the venue where it is going to take place: the CB2 Cafe of Cambridge. To the date, neither the starting time of the session nor the list of shorts taking part (all or just some of them) have been officially published.
The Cambridge Strawberry Shorts Film Festival 2016, which is yearly organized by the Cambridge Cinema Shorts, was the opening event of the Strawberry Fair 2016. The festival itself, as we pointed out above, was held on 3rd June. That very day, they screened all shorts of the Official Competition: only fifteen finalists in total. The awards of this year's edition? Russian animation The Edge by Alexandra Averyanova won the La Fraise d'Or Audience Award as well as the La Fraise d'Or Judges Award. For its part, Besieged Bread, the fiction short directed by Soudade Kaadan (Syria) received the La Fraise d'Or Viewing Panel Award. Additionally, each member of the Jury announced his and her own Commendation that went to the shorts Besieged Bread, Guai Wu by Rina B. Tsou (Taiwan) and In The Shadow Of The Mountain by Neith Sentis (United Kingdom / Spain).
