“Bus Story” by Jorge Yúdice is about to compete at the Festival International du Film de Tanger (Tangier, Tangier-Tetouan, Morocco)The Festival du Film de Tanger (Tangier, Morocco) of the current year 2016 has selected the short film Bus Story, directed by Jorge Yúdice, which is going to be shown in Morocco within the next days.

Bus Story, the short by Jorge Yúdice, still continues its international film festival running and it is going to make a stop at the 9ème Festival International du Film de Tanger (Tangier, Tangier-Tetouan, Morocco). The short by Jorge Yúdice has been nominated for competing at this Moroccan film contest, also known by its English name: the Tangier International Film Festival.

The ninth edition of the Festival de Tangier is beginning just today, 20th September. It will finish on Saturday 24, after five days of screenings.

They must wait until Friday 23rd September to see the short Bus Story by Jorge Yúdice in Tangier. This story is going to be shown on Friday from 19:00 hours. This session will close the screenings of the Official Competition and, as all screenings, will be done at the Cinéma Roxy of Tangier.

If we have counted correctly, there will be up to 39 international short films contesting in the Official Competition of the 9ème Festival du Film de Tanger. The competition has been classified in fiction —Bus Story by Jorge Yúdice has been nominated for this category— and documentary.

For their part, the 12 documentaries of the Official Competition are: The Tibetan Girl by Jin Huaqing (China), Christ/el by Andreas Grützner (Germany), Jasmine by Almohannad Kalthom (Syria), Iman by Mina Magdy (Egypt), Les dinosaures du desert by Anis Absi (Tunisia), La última función by Federico Portugal (Colombia), Polana by Ivan Kriask & Lubomir Viluda (Slovakia), NouN by Aida Schläpfer Al Hassani (Iraq / Switzerland), Moving Forest by Emmanuel Coquelou & Yanette Shalter (France), Big Wave in the Baste Country by Jesús Mª Delgado (Spain), Van water de drupppels by Jeannice Adriaansens (Netherlands), and Why is the Universe Speeding Up? by Alex Mundta Tarrats (Spain).

Given its international nature, the Official Competition of the ninth Festival du Film de Tanger has films produced in Spain (6 including one co-production) Germany (4), France (3), Colombia (2), Egypt (2), United Kingdom (2), China (2 including one co-production), Switzerland (2 including one co-production), USA (3 co-productions with China, Spain, and Taiwan), Austria (1), Canada (1), Slovakia (1), Slovenia (1), Greece (1), Netherlands (1), Italy (1), Lebanon (1), Morocco (1), Montenegro (1), Palestine (1), Poland (1), Portugal (1), Syria (1), Tunisia (1), Iraq (1 co-production), and Taiwan (1 co-production).

The Festival du Film de Tanger 2016 will disclosed the names of the winners on Saturday 24th September during the closing gala that will take place at the Cinéma Roxy of Tangier.
