Huhezinema Festival Selected Short Film Ashen

The short film Ashen (Cenizo), directed by Jon Mikel Caballero, has been nominated for competing at the Huhezinema Festival, which is opening tomorrow, Wednesday 16th March, in the town of Aretxabaleta (Basque Country, Spain).
In a few hours, a new edition of their film festival is beginning in Aretxabaleta (Basque Country, Spain). The IX. Euskal Film Laburren Jaialdia Huhezinema is opening tomorrow, Wednesday 16th March, with the short film Ashen (Cenizo) by Jon Mikel Caballero in the list of selected films.
The number of short films nominated for competing during the ninth edition has reached 10 titles, including Ashen by Jon Mikel Caballero. The Official Competition of the year 2016 consists of: Ashen by Jon Mikel Caballero, Napoleón y yo by Ander Duque, Dantzariak by Axier Salazar, Lobito bueno, bruja hermosa by Ainara Porrón, Hartz txiki by Uraitz Soubies, Bere bizitzetako bat by Aitor Gametxo, Mezu bat hozkailuan by Erika Elizari & Ekaitz Herrera, Duellum by Tucker Dávila Wood, I Said I Never Talk About Politics by Aitor Oñederra, and Break In by Mikel Aristregi & José Bautista.
All competing shorts are going to be shown on Friday 18th March from 17:00 hours at the Arkupe Kulturetxea of Aretxabaleta. At the end of the screening of the shorts in the Official Competition, they are going to announce the 2016 awards.
The Huhezinema film competition, which is scheduled on 16th, 17th, and 18th March, is becoming an international film competition because of this year's edition. The festival is showcasing several international short films in collaboration with San Sebastian Film Festival / Donostia Zinemaldia.
