Paracuellos del Jarama Has Selected Short Films Tuning Oscar And (Un)sunny

The short films Tuning Oscar (Óscar desafinado) by Mikel Alvariño and (Un)sunny (Desolado) by Víctor Nores haven been nominated for competing at the Festival de Cortometrajes de Paracuellos del Jarama of the current year 2015.
The IV Festival de Cortometrajes de Paracuellos del Jarama has began today, Wednesday 25th November, in Paracuellos del Jarama, a village near Madrid, capital of Spain. Two short films promoted at the film festivals by [ The House of Films ] have been selected for participating in this event: Tuning Oscar (Óscar desafinado), directed by Mikel Alvariño, and (Un)sunny (Desolado), directed by Víctor Nores and produced by Borja de la Fuente.
The fourth edition of this film competition will continue until Saturday 28th November and 36 short films are going to be exhibited during the five days of festival.

(Un)sunny by Víctor Nores has been screened just today at 20:00 hours while Tuning Oscar by Mikel Alvariño is going to be shown tomorrow, Thursday 26th November, also at 20:00 hours. The venue for both screenings, as well for all activities during the festival, will be the Centro Cultural of Paracuellos del Jarama.

The Festival de Paracuellos del Jarama is giving several awards:
- Jury's First Prize to Best Short Film, a € 750 cash-prize.
- Jury's Second Prize to Best Short Film, a € 300 cash-prize.
- Jury's Prize to Best Female Actress.
- Jury's Prize to Best Male Actor.
- First Audience Award to Best Short Film, a € 750 cash-prize.
- Second Audience Award to Best Short Film, a € 300 cash-prize.
It should be noted that the members of the Jury are Pedro Solís, Cecilia Freire, Beatriz Webe, and Víctor Nores, director of (Un)sunny.
