Last May we announced that the short film 600$ by Oriol Cardús had been selected for competing at the Film Festival Internazionale di Milano (Milan, Italy). The day when this short film is going to be shown has already come.
Today, Friday 16th October, at 17:30 hours, they are going to screen the short film 600$, directed by Oriol Cardús, at the XV Edizione del Film Festival Internazionale di Milano (Milan, Italy).
The fifteenth edition of the MIFF of Milan, a special edition because of the Expo of Milan, began last 11th May and will continue until coming Sunday 18th October.
As we pointed in a past article, 600$ by Oriol Cardús is one of the four international short films had been selected for the "Cortometraggi oltre 15 min. fino a 30 min. max - Internazionale" category, devoted to international short films between 15 and 30 minutes long. The four candidates are: Jaya by Puja Maewal (India / USA), 600$ by Oriol Cardús (Spain), Noticed by Limor Diamant (USA), and Devaste by Alfred Dong (China / Thailand / USA).
It should be highlighted that 600$ by Oriol Cardús is the only Spanish short film nominated for competing at the XV Edizione del Film Festival Internazionale di Milano.
The MIFF of Milan has selected a total of 10 international short films (including the four ones in the "Cortometraggi oltre 15 min. fino a 30 min. max - Internazionale") and four additional Italian short films. The international short films in the competition are: De Smet by Thomas Baerten & Wim Geudens (Belgium / Netherlands), Hotel 22 by Elizabeth Lo (USA), Knopka by Maja Costa (Germany), Dad's Dead by Robert Putka (USA), Incognito by Jeremiah Quinn (United Kingdom), Victory's Short by Mika Ela Fisher (France), Jaya by Puja Maewal (India / USA), 600$ by Oriol Cardús (Spain), Noticed by Limor Diamant (USA), and Devaste by Alfred Dong (China / Thailand / USA).
Today's screenings are going to take place at the Università IULM of Milan.
The festival is announcing the winners of the current edition of the Film Festival Internazionale di Milano on Sunday 18th October, from 18:00 hours.
