VAT In Spain

VAT (Value Added Tax) is a consumption tax which is paid in the European Union, also in Spain. VAT is a compulsory tax which taxes sales of goods and purchase of services. Currently, VAT in Spain, for our services, is 21% of price.

Nevertheless, VAT is added or not to price depending whether you are a company (or sole proprietorship) or whether you are a private individual and depending on where you live in:

I LIVE IN I AM A COMPANY I AM AN INDIVIDUAL
Spain and Baleares VAT is added VAT is added
Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla (Spain) VAT is NOT added VAT is added
European Union (except Spain) VAT is NOT added VAT is added
Outside European Union VAT is NOT added VAT is NOT added

VAT is not added to the price of the service only when the company has a VATIN (Value Added Tax Identification Number) from its country of origin. Only in this case VAT is not added to the invoices that it receives.

VAT is the only consumption tax in Spain which taxes the services done by [ The House of Films ].

Nevertheless, be aware that you could be subject of other taxes or tariffs in your own country. You should ask an expert or our national authorities.
