Memory At The International Short Film Festival Of India |

Memory, the short film directed by Víctor Suñer, has won a new festival selection. Thanks to the International Short Film Festival of India, the locals of Chennai can enjoy this short film.The selection committee of the 6th International Short Film Festival of India (Chennai, India), also known as ISFFI, has selected the short film Memory by Víctor Suñer for its next Official Competition among 632 films coming from 26 countries. This Indian festival is going to take place on March 17th and 18th at the Abirami Mega Mall, Shree Annai (Chinese Theme Theatre) of Chennai (formerly Madras, India). The screening of Memory is scheduled on 17th from 15:45 to 17:45 (local time). The whole list of nominees includes a total of 56 shorts from Germany, Spain, United States, Switzerland, Italy, Australia, United Kingdom, Poland, Iran, Russia, China, and obviously India. Besides of Memory, the short film by Víctor Suñer, 10 more Spanish short films has entered at the Official Competition: The Astronaut on the Roof, Eso te pasa por barroco, Unfarewell, Made in Japan, Septiembre, Bucle, El grifo, El cortejo, 15 Summers Later, and Zeinek gehiago iraum. The main goal of the ISFFI is to showcase short films that celebrates diverse cultures and film aesthetic traditions as well as tackles social and political issues. The interest of ISFFI is in short films that deal with novel themes and unusual visualizations that dissent in form, technique, or content from the mainstream. This festival is part of a bunch of film festivals held yearly by the Don Bosco Institute of Communication Arts (DBICA), a society devoted to active film promotion. |
