For the first time in Spain ¡Córtate! is going to screened a handful of 3D short films. On next Thursday June 30th, 4D, a special session of ¡Córtate! in Madrid.

El segundo amanecer de la ceguera (The Second Awakening of Blindness) by Mauricio Franco has won one of the most important awards, the Excellence Award (BS Busan Bank Award), at the Busan International Short Film Festival in South Korea.

Because of a misprint in the web of the Busan International Short Film Festival, we wrongly published that the award granted to El segundo amanecer de la ceguera by Mauricio Franco had been the Renault Samsung Motors Award. The award was indeed won by The Doppelganger, directed by Stephanie Winter.

Adiós, muñeca (Goodbye, Doll), directed by Hugo Sanz and produced by 29Letras, has won the "Orgullo y Pasión" (Pride and Passion) Prize as the Best Andalusian Short Film granted by the VI Festival ARTIfice of Loja (Granada, Andalusia, Spain). This is the third award won by this short film within the last three months.

Moreover, Adiós, muñeca (Goodbye, Doll) has been selected for official competition at the Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes FIC Móstoles (Móstoles, near Madrid, Spain).
