El Gato de Schrödinger Goes For The Discarded

The Concurso de Cortometrajes El Gato de Schrödinger (Valencia, Spain) has selected the short The Discarded (En mal estado) by David Delicado Adsuar & Juan Antonio Delicado Adsuar and it is going to be shown tomorrow, Friday 20th December.

The short film The Discarded (En mal estado), directed by David Delicado Adsuar & Juan Antonio Delicado Adsuar brothers, is currently competing a the 1st Concurso de Cortometrajes El Gato de Schrödinger (Alicante, Valencia, Spain) —El Gato de Schrödinger is the Spanish name for the Schrödinger's Cat physics analogy. This Concurso, which is going to be held on Fridays of December, began last week, specifically last Friday 13th December.

The Discarded by David Delicado Adsuar & Juan Antonio Delicado Adsuar is going to be screened tomorrow, Friday 20th December, from 22:40 hours at the Q Gallery of Alicante.

A total of 14 short films are going to compete at the El Gato de Schrödinger Festival. The 14 selected shorts are: ¿Por qué? by Álvaro García Company, Preludio by José A. Dols, Némesis by Guillermo Alcalá, Nos n'tros by Emilio Gallego & Jesús Gallego, Jaime el Barbudo by Arly Jones & Sami Natsheh, Ácido by Ángel Puado, Aparkaos by Alejandro Ballesteros, La empresa by Jorge Miranda, The Discarded by David Delicado Adsuar & Juan Antonio Delicado Adsuar, Historia muerta by Fran Mateu, The Crypt Club by Alejandro Díaz, Si mueres no conduzcas by Pablo Ferrando, Gondió by Manolito Motosierra, and La partida by Antonio Asín y Adolfo Asín.

The selected shorts are fighting for the Audience Award, as well as for another four awards given by the Jury: the Best Short Film Award, the Best Director Award, the Best Male Actor Award, and the Best Female Actress Award.

The Concurso de Cortometrajes El Gato de Schrödinger is open to short films made by filmmakers born or living in the province of Alicante, one of the provinces of the region of Valencia.
