The successful short films El segundo amanecer de la ceguera (The Second Awakening of Blindness) by Mauricio Franco and Adiós, muñeca (Goodbye, Doll) by Hugo Sanz have been nominated for the Festival de Cine de Madrid PNR (PNR Madrid Film Festival). This Festival is organized by the Madrid-based Plataforma de Nuevos Realizadores (New Filmmakers Society – a charity devoted to those who are beginning in filmmaking). Both El segundo amanecer de la ceguera and Adiós, muñeca will contend inside the Short Film Official Competition, which is open to filmmakers that are non-members of the Plataforma.
