The Minutnik Festival (Slovenia) has selected the short films A Childhood Ambition by Juan A. Ruiz & Fernando García, Theft (Hurto) by Jerónimo García Castela, Duty (Deber) by Ángel Manzano, Don't Leave Me (No me quites) by Laura Jou, Bus Story by Jorge Yúdice, and The Cake (La tarta) by Fernando Sánchez. These six shorts went to Šentjernej, the town where this festival took place.

The ninth edition of the Cortor Festival of El Tormo (El Tormo, Cirat, Valencia, Spain) has a winner: the short film Duty (Deber), directed by Ángel Manzano, has been awarded at this film competition.
